Because the tire is moulded from solid rubber instead of being air filled, it cannot puncture or go flat on a milling site where milled asphalt, aggregate and steel offcuts are spread across the working area. The tire is bonded to a steel rim that is drilled to the W50 wheel hub bolt pattern, so the complete wheel is fitted as
